Cooking Class 101

Beginning June 4, 2008, Café 458 is launching a hands-on training program to give you the basics of cooking and the opportunity to display what you've learned in a restaurant setting.   "Cooking 101" will be led by Culinary Institute of America alum, Chef Johnathan Metellus. 

Some of the techniques that will be taught are: techniques to healthy cooking, plate presentation, menu development and costing, knife skills and introduction to baking and dessert display.

This program is free of charge.  We only ask that you make a one month commitment to attend an instructional and application class two days a week.
