Samaritan House of Atlanta relies on the support of businesses within our community to help us achieve our mission. There are also many ways that a partnership with Samaritan House of Atlanta can further your company's mission.

Give a corporate donation

Thursdays are Thanksgiving – Sponsor one or more Thursday meals served at Café 458 and help make every “Thursday feel like Thanksgiving”.

Organize a volunteer project for your company or department

Opportunities are available 7 days a week at Café 458, The EDGE, and our Administrative offices.

Sponsor/Underwrite/Participate in an event

Annual Samaritan House Golf Classic (Spring) at Bear’s Best Atlanta. Sponsorship opportunities range from $600 to $20,000. Great course that golfers love. Registration also available for individuals and foursomes.
New Beginnings Photography Exhibit and Reception (Fall). Unique event that captures the story of homelessness through the use of photography.

Organize a clothing, toiletries or canned food drive

Over 400 homeless individuals visit our clothing closet each month.
Constant need to replenish business men’s and women’s business attire, men’s shoes, and undergarments.

Donate professional services – Printing, public relations, technology services, photography, restaurant consulting

We utilize volunteer and pro-bono services in all aspects of the agency to curb expenses.
Also a great way for companies/departments to work together on a community project.

Designate Samaritan House of Atlanta as the “Jeans Day” beneficiary one month

We can provide marketing or promo materials to encourage your employees to make a donation.

Encourage employee giving (via United Way or similar campaigns)

Great way to get employees involved in philanthropy
Samaritan House available to make pitches
Provide matching gifts for employee contributions

Host your next meeting or holiday party at Café 458

Rental space and catering can be arranged to suit your needs.
Also consider turning your holiday party into a community engagement activity – collect clothing donations, make gift bags, create greeting cards for our guests.

Provide job opportunities and/or leads for Samaritan House guests

The EDGE program prepares homeless men and women to re-enter the workforce.
We seek partnerships with companies that can provide job opportunities and attend job fairs.
Special tax credits available for companies that hire job seekers with employment barriers (Work Opportunity Tax Credit – for more information visit http://www.doleta.gov/business/incentives/opptax/).

Empowerment sessions

Donate used office equipment and furniture including computers, scanners, fax machines, desks, chairs, etc.

Accepting donated equipment allows us to keep our budget relatively low.
Please make sure items are in good working condition, we do not have extra storage space for obsolete equipment.

Hire the Clean Street Team

A transitional employment and training program for homeless men and women.
Currently has contracts with City of Atlanta, Atlanta Housing Authority, Keep East Point Beautiful, MARTA, etc.
Available for litter removal, clearing drains, other exterior maintenance.

Eat Well…Do Good – Visit Café 458!

Open to the public on Thursday and Friday evenings for dinner (5:30PM-8:30PM) and on Sundays for brunch (10AM–4PM)
All proceeds benefit Samaritan House of Atlanta programs
Special holiday menus for Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
