“I am asking you to tap into that, whatever that story is for you, and find a way to do more.”
Shirley Franklin, Mayor of Atlanta

What is your story?

At some point you have encountered a homeless person while walking on the street asking you for a money.  Or you've pulled up to an intersection and witnessed a homeless person on the side of the road with a cup or a sign asking for help.  Or maybe you have driven under a bridge and seen the remnants of a cardboard house or bags of clothes in garbage bags.

“The Story of Lives Transformed” is the theme for our 3rd annual New Beginnings Photography Exhibit and Reception fundraiser.  This year's event will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Cator Woolford Gardens in historic Druid Hills.

The event will feature a photojournalistic view of homelessness with photos taken by Samaritan House program participants, as well as, various artists throughout the city and students from SCAD-Atlanta.

Attendees will enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres, music, raffle drawings, and a silent auction.

Tickets are available online NOW for $55.
