About Thursdays are Thanksgiving
Thursdays are Thanksgiving is a chance to perform a small act of kindness that will be deeply appreciated by Café 458 guests. Our goal is to make every Thursday feel like Thanksgiving. For many, this is the only full meal that they will eat all day. When our guests see the sponsor sign proudly displayed in the restaurant, they know that people in the community are supporting them and it inspires them to stay on their dedicated path to independence and self-sufficiency.
You may pick the date or dates of your choice to sponsor the event. Some sponsors choose a date that is especially meaningful to them or a Thursday to honor of a friend or family member’s birthday. Your name as sponsor will be showcased in a framed sign located in Café 458 on your day. We also encourage you to volunteer on your selected day!

One raffle ticket per $100 contribution for Thursdays are Thanksgiving will be entered into a drawing. The drawing will be held on July 12th during the weekend brunch.
- You must participate in the Thursdays are Thanksgiving event to enter the raffle.
- Each Thursdays are Thanksgiving costs $100 per Thursday.
- In the event of any dispute regarding this drawing and/or prize, Samaritan House of Atlanta may, in its sole discretion, refund the price of the ticket(s) in lieu of the ticket holder receiving the prize.
- Thursdays in 2009 and 2010 are available for this raffle.
- The drawing will be held at Café 458 Weekend Brunch in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at or around 10:00 am.
- You need not be present to win.
- Winners who are not present at the drawing will be notified by phone by July 13, 2009 or by letter dated July 13, 2009.
- Winner must show proper identification and to claim the prize.
- Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and photograph in website promotions and for other promotional purposes, unless prohibited by law.
- Samaritan House of Atlanta board members, advisors, employees and their family members are eligible to enter and win prizes by purchasing a raffle ticket.
- Samaritan House of Atlanta reserves the right to cancel this raffle, at any time, and return all proceeds from ticket sales to the rightful purchasers.
- The net proceeds are used to support programs at Samaritan House of Atlanta, making this raffle a good cause.
- We are a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform lives by helping homeless men and women achieve self-sufficiency through employment readiness programs and life stabilization programs. We support over 700 men and women each year. Samaritan House of Atlanta is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
